Scott Barbur, Attorney

Scott Barbur specializes in Estate Planning & Administration and in other areas of law revolving around the protection and management of property, assets and wealth.
Scott is a highly personable attorney who enjoys working with his clients to get them from “Point A to Point B”. Born and raised in Milwaukie, Scott has a strong knowledge of and connection to the area and the people that he serves. He has a passion for helping people understand difficult legal concepts and in making the law more approachable and down to earth.

Scott has extensive experience in law. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as a legal assistant and paralegal which provided him with an education into the “nuts and bolts” of practicing law and working with clients. As a lawyer, Scott has worked across many legal fields which provides him a deep knowledge base and comprehensive view of many different areas of law.

Scott is highly involved in his community and is regularly active with the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce, Milwaukie Rotary Club, Milwaukie Historical Society and Friends of the Milwaukie Center. He also enjoys teaching the basic education course required of all newly appointed estate personal representative’s through Guardian Partners. Scott previously served a four-year term as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Milwaukie from 2013-2017.
