Small Estate Planning Firm is Humble Recipient of Long-time Portland Firm’s Original Wills

Milwaukie, OR, Oct. 8, 2021 – Barbur Law LLC announced today that the firm is acquiring all Oregon wills from the Portland office of Landye Bennett Blumstein LLP effective immediately.

Landye Bennett Blumstein was founded in Portland in 1955 and has always focused on creating a team of Oregon’s most talented lawyers spanning many practice areas. Mainly representing clients throughout Oregon, Washington, and Alaska, LBB has also worked with clients in many parts of the country on specialized matters. Established in 1976, the Anchorage office of Landye Bennett Blumstein is one of the largest and most well-regarded firms in Alaska.

Barbur Law shares with social media followers on Facebook that they are “honored to have been chosen by Landye Bennett Blumstein LLP as the keeper of Oregon clients’ original wills, effective with LBB’s Portland office closure September 1.” When reached for comment, principal attorney and owner of Barbur Law, Scott Barbur, noted his “gratitude to be entrusted with these wills.”

Barbur Law was established in 2012 as a solo general practice, and since that time, has grown to a small estate planning firm, with two distinct Oregon office locations, serving the communities of Milwaukie and Tillamook.
